Three easy ways to log
Scan a product barcode, photograph your meal or describe it. You can dictate the description through your phone’s system keyboard if supported. Save your own foods for next time.
Calorie tracker · available for Android
NouriBud is a calorie tracker for adults: log food, track calories and nutrients, and compare your monthly balance. If your goal is weight loss, look at the longer-term trend rather than a single day.
Available for Android on Google Play. The iOS version is in development.

What NouriBud does
Your diary should help you understand a routine, not judge a single meal.
Scan a product barcode, photograph your meal or describe it. You can dictate the description through your phone’s system keyboard if supported. Save your own foods for next time.
AI estimates and database values both need the right food and portion. Check the proposed details and correct them before they enter your diary.
One day does not show the whole picture. Compare logged intake, available expenditure and weight over time; days with missing information stay marked.

Why look at a month
If weight loss is your goal, the longer-term direction is more useful than judging each day on its own. NouriBud’s monthly view puts logged days in context; an incomplete diary or missing expenditure is never presented as an exact zero.
In a two-year randomized trial, sustained lower energy intake led to lower body weight than in the control group. This supports looking at direction over time rather than treating one day as a verdict.
CALERIE trial, 2019 ↗A study of two-week weight changes found that short-term fluctuations were strongly associated with changes in water and fat-free mass. A single weigh-in can therefore mislead.
Bhutani et al., 2017 ↗Research does not establish a calendar month as the only useful interval. The monthly summary is an overview, not an exact prediction of kilograms lost; the body adapts when energy intake changes. Hall et al., 2011 ↗
Your call
Your diary stays primarily on your phone. You can see and control what you choose to send.
For each review, choose diet and goal only, or include limited profile, weight, available expenditure and fasting context.
A newly checked ingredient or product may be submitted for shared review only after separate consent. Recipes and diary entries are not submitted.
In Settings, check contribution status, retry a pending upload, download a copy and turn sharing off.

A drink you confirm as exactly 0 kcal does not interrupt the fasting timer. Coffee with milk or sugar, or a drink without verified calorie information, is handled more cautiously.
No. NouriBud is a wellness diary for adults, not a medical device or a substitute for a qualified professional.
