Privacy choices

Local diary and backup

Open NouriBud → Settings → Privacy and data → Export all data or Delete all data. You can also remove individual diary entries in the app. A backup can include sensitive profile, food, weight and photo information: keep it secure. Deleting the app's local data or uninstalling does not erase backups you saved elsewhere, originals in your gallery, or data already sent to the server.

One-time AI requests

Food analysis is sent when you request it, although unfinished requests can retry when the connection returns. Older app versions may offer only a diet-only seven-day review (names, amounts, nutrients and your selected goal). Newer versions also offer a complete review with limited profile, weight, activity, expenditure and fasting context. Where available, you choose the scope for each review; the control may look different between versions and there is no permanent review switch.

Portion-estimate improvement

Settings → Privacy and data → Improvement of portion estimates. The switch is off until you give separate consent. When on, eligible new weighed photo meals can be sent automatically. Turning it off opens a confirmation to stop future contributions and delete attributable server samples. If offline, complete the pending deletion when connected.

Shared food catalogue

Settings → Privacy and data → Shared food catalogue. The independent switch is off until you consent. When on, newly checked and deliberately saved ingredients/products can be submitted for moderation, sometimes with up to two temporary verification photos. In the same section you can see counts and item status, retry entries waiting on this phone and download a copy of your contributions. The export itself sends no new product.

Turning the switch off opens confirmation to stop new submissions and delete pending, rejected and other still-attributable contributions, including temporary photos. Already detached anonymous approved entries may remain. Older consent versions can have different deletion rules. If a deletion is waiting for the server, use Complete deletion once online.

When you no longer have the device or beta code

Write to smartcaloriemeter@gmail.com for a secure access, export or deletion procedure. Do not email your beta code, meal photos, health screenshots or full diary. Uninstalling alone cannot delete server contributions.
